Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Silent Call Reminder mobile application (the "App") provided by Silent Call Reminder Team ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from your parent or legal guardian.

1. Description of the App

Silent Call Reminder is a utility app that helps users notice incoming calls and selected notifications by triggering configurable sound, vibration, flash, and notification reminders. The App may provide features such as all-call reminders, selected-number and selected-contact reminders, selected-app notification reminders, quiet hours, scenario modes, alert sound selection, vibration pattern selection, reminder duration settings, background guard service, boot restore behavior, permission checks, language settings, and limited local alert history.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the App for your personal, lawful, non-commercial use on Android devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sell, rent, lease, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except to the extent allowed by applicable law.

3. Important Limitations

The App is an auxiliary reminder tool. It is not an emergency service, medical device, safety system, security system, telecommunications provider, or guaranteed call delivery service.

Incoming call detection and reminder behavior can be affected by Android version, device manufacturer restrictions, carrier behavior, notification settings, Do Not Disturb settings, battery optimization, autostart restrictions, ringtone and volume settings, permission changes, app updates, system updates, and other factors outside our control. You should not rely on the App as your only method for receiving urgent, emergency, medical, safety-critical, business-critical, or legally required communications.

4. Permissions and Device Settings

The App requires certain Android permissions and settings to work as intended, including phone state, notifications, contact access for contacts you choose, Do Not Disturb access, foreground service behavior, battery optimization exception, vibration, boot completed handling, and related system settings.

You are responsible for deciding whether to grant these permissions. If permissions or system settings are denied, revoked, restricted, or changed, some features may be unavailable or unreliable.

5. Your Responsibilities

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
• Respect the privacy and rights of people whose phone numbers or contact details you add to the App.
• Keep your device, operating system, and App version reasonably up to date.
• Do not misuse the App to harass, monitor, profile, or harm others.
• Do not interfere with, bypass, or abuse Android security, permission, notification, or battery controls.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, stores, uses, and shares data. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

7. Accounts, Payments, Ads, and Subscriptions

The App does not currently require a separate Silent Call Reminder account and does not display in-app advertising. Certain reminder features require an active Premium subscription purchased through Google Play.

Premium is an automatically renewing subscription. The available free trial, eligibility, local price, currency, taxes, billing period, and first charge date are shown on the Google Play purchase confirmation screen and may vary by country or region. Unless you cancel before the free trial or current billing period ends, Google Play will automatically charge your selected payment method at the displayed weekly subscription price.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, Premium access generally continues until the end of the current paid period. Free-trial eligibility is determined by Google Play and may be limited to eligible new subscribers.

Payments, billing credentials, renewals, cancellations, and refund requests are processed by Google Play under its applicable terms and policies. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card or bank account details. Price or plan changes will be displayed or communicated through Google Play as required by applicable rules.

Your subscription is also subject to the Subscription Terms presented in the App. The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase and the Tenjin SDK for analytics, install attribution, service measurement, and product performance purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services and Platform Terms

The App is distributed through Google Play and runs on Android. Your use of Google Play, Android, Firebase, Tenjin, device manufacturer services, system backup, device transfer, and system settings may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies from Google, Tenjin, your device manufacturer, your carrier, or other third parties. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. Updates may add, change, or remove features. You may need to install updates to continue using the App or to maintain compatibility with Android and Google Play requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will show a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, sounds, logos, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the App.

11. User Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation to improve the App, provided that we will handle any personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed calls, missed opportunities, interruption of service, device issues, or other losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the App or service giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law if no payment was made.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You may uninstall the App or clear its data through Android settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Uninstalling the App, clearing its data, or losing access for a violation does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Google Play; you remain responsible for canceling it through Google Play.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's principal place of business, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts or dispute resolution bodies available under applicable law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
